Processing/HTML/CSS/JS Coding Explorations

I first started out learning how to code with Processing, making art and visual poetry through code.

Shortly, I discovered my love for coding and subsequently created three navigatable websites (ASCII Town, Republic of Investigo, and Please Don't Leave).

ASCII Town documents my nostalgic love and research on the topic of computers. Similar to point-and-click adventure games, the user can navigate through various houses and objects in this lovely town to uncover my own mindmap.

Republic of Investigo is a website for a fictional republic government held by the beliefs on a right to knowledge and desire for truth. The Republic of Investigo urges its citizens to question everything. If you are willing to search, the Republic of Investigo will help you too.

We tend to talk about our addiction to computers, but how would a computer act if it was addicted to us? Please Don't Leave maps out a conversation with a computer displaying its emotional symptoms of addiction. The computer will first ask a question, which will also be the last question it asks. Thus, there will be a seamless, looping cycle that will be unnoticed until the user continues and makes that realization. This is meant to display the computer’s repetitive addiction to humans (us) and our compulsory, cyclical use/
false sense of control.
